Why we exist
Despite the increasing demand for AI, digital literacy, and EdTech-related skills in the workforce, education systems worldwide are failing to adequately prepare students for the future of work. According to the World Economic Forum (2023), 44% of workers will require significant reskilling within the next five years, yet curricula remain outdated, and 60% of teachers (UNESCO, 2022) feel unequipped to teach these critical competencies. This skills gap is further exacerbated by inequitable access to technology, leaving students from low-income communities at a disadvantage and creating a mismatch between educational outcomes and industry needs.
This misalignment threatens to widen the digital divide, hinder economic growth, and leave the next generation ill-prepared for an AI-driven economy unless immediate and systemic changes are made.
What we do...
Guardian Hub strives to equip educators with the skills, tools, and support to integrate AI, digital literacy, and EdTech into classrooms will empower them to deliver future-focused education, ensuring students gain the competencies needed for an AI-driven workplace. By prioritizing teacher capacity building, we create a sustainable pathway to bridge the skills gap and prepare learners for the demands of the future economy.
